More MERLIN paper formatting fixes (last ones, hopefully):
- Switched from one ACM style to another, and added conference
and copyright footer as they requested.
- Added one of "on the next page", "above", "on the left"
to all the reffigure's.
(This is needed since the sig-alternate style is pretty liberal with
figure placement, and most of the figure references end up being "on the
next page" ones).
